Sean Stokes, M.S. is a social impact strategist, educator, and health equity advocate.He was most recently communications director at the Ad Council where he developed health promotion strategies for the CDC, United Way, American Heart Association, and other partners. Prior to that, he led public relations for a Bronx health center during the early COVID-19 pandemic.Sean began his career as a reporter and Kuralt Fellow at the Voice of America. He later worked in arts activism and won a 2014 AUDELCO Award for excellence in Black theater.Sean studied journalism at UNC-Chapel Hill and earned a Master of Science in community health & education from Columbia University.
